Frank Frazetta passed away on May 10th, and cghub has a couple tribute threads going. Considering Frazetta is one of my all time favorite artists and a huge inspiration to me, I decided to join in on the one focused on a Conan book cover. This is the layout sketch I decided to go with on my final painted image. I'll post some of the works in progress and the final here shortly.
Just browsing but I remember some of Frazettas work. I just think your Conan could have been more awesome. I don't feel his strength nor am I feeling his awesomeness. I remember the death Dealer, the berserker and the one with the snake. The picture said it all!
