I did this logo awhile back while doing some contract work for a friend and his business partner. Together they ran a little press that re-published some great old horror books from the likes of Ray Bradbury and Richard Matheson. My friend decided they needed a serious overhaul on their website, and a new look so this was some of the work I did toward that end. I believe I started with a base using the "Abaddon" font, then modified it from there; painted over to get the rusty look, etc. It was a pretty fun little job at the time.
